After months of participating in a competitive selection process, 12 GBS student musicians have been selected as finalists in the Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA) state competition. The following state finalists will perform in a special musical showcase later this month in Peoria:

Orchestra: Daniel Ahn, Joo Hee Lee, Soyoon Park, Isabelle Uhl

Chorus: Murray Campbell, Kris Hansen, Tim Kirby, Katherine Loiselle, Ryan Tarpey, Merrick Topping

Jazz Band: Dan Chmielinski

Vocal Jazz: Josh Olsen
