Glenview Park District holds Halloween Spooktacular

With the help of about 200 volunteers, on Friday, October 19th, Glenview Park Center was transformed into a giant Halloween hall for over 1,000 trick-or-treaters. Kids came dressed as their favorite super hero, athlete, witch or goblin. Children and parents were entertained with face painting, arts and crafts, games, food, and "Ronald McDonald".

Ronald visited with the trick-or-treaters as he walked from event to event, greeting them with a smile, and posing for pictures with them. Organizer of the event, Marcia Kenner was thrilled to have Ronald McDonald mingle with the children. Ronald shared in on the fun with the kids, he even took time to color a pumpkin with Jai.

Ronald's appearance was courtesy of the local McDonald's owner/operators, Mark and Jenny Freeman.
