John "Jack" McKinnon, longtime Glenview resident, passed away November 29, 2011 with his family at his side.
He was husband of Lil nee Hitchens; father of Caroline (Dennis) Maybrun, Cherrie McKinnon and Rochelle (Jack) Kruse; Papa of Kenzie, Jack, Kyle and Ryan; brother of George, James and Eileen McKinnon, the late Rose Polkinghorne and Hugh McKinnon; and uncle of many.
Jack was born in Scotland and played professional soccer for Scotland and Canada. Upon moving to Chicago, he worked as a mason contractor. In retirement he enjoyed his daily golf game.
