Ronald McDonald Visits Big Blast Glenview
On Wednesday night July 18, McDonald's in Glenview was proud to be one of the many sponsors of the "Big Blast" event. The event took place at Flick Park in Glenview. The Big Blast founder; Rhonda Penzell works with a group called "Push America" which is an organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities. "Journey of Hope" is a yearly event where 40 guys ride their bikes 4000 miles cross-country to raise money, making 67 stops total. The Push America riders stopped in Glenview on July 18th (where they were welcomed with a picnic) and many fun activities. The "Journey of Hope" then continues their way to Chicago.
