YOUth Make a Difference 5K Does Make a Difference for Children in our Community
Sunday, June 17th, was the 8th Annual YOUth Make a Difference 5K Run/Walk for Youth Services Glenview/Northbrook, started by Jessica Garvey while a runner at GBS high school.
It was another wonderful event with over 500 participants and volunteers. The race’s dedicated committee will be passing the baton for the 5K over to Youth Services for future races. Over the past eight years, the event has raised over $125,000 for the agency.
Heartfelt thanks to our Committee Families of Eight Years:
The Donohue Family, The Fischl Family, The Garvey Family, The Kraus Family, The Kwasniewski/Mura Family, The O’Brien Family, The Stoddard Family, The Wasielewski Family, The Welch Family, and The Wittenstein Family.
And a huge thank you to the participants, committee members, volunteers, and sponsors who truly made a difference.
