Charity Hockey Game Honors Youth League Coaches Who Died
Sunday's event at the Glenview Ice Center will benefit the Max Plotnick Education Fund and the Pagano Family Memorial Fund
Proceeds from the hockey game will benefit the Max Plotnick Education Fund and the Pagano Family Memorial Fund.
“Two of our youth league coaches died suddenly this year, Neal Pagano and Aaron Plotnick, and the hockey community in Glenview came together to help out the two families and their children,” said Sylvain Turcotte, hockey director for the Glenview Park District.
This is the first charity hockey event for these funds at the center, and everyone is looking forward to it, he said.
‘It should be very entertaining,” he said.
The game will take place from 4:45 to 6:35 p.m., Sunday. The Chicago Wolves mascot Skates will be there for part of the game taking pictures and greeting attendees.
Admission is $5. However, if you wear your youth or high school jersey, admission is $3. Tickets are available at the door. There will be a raffle following the game.
