Recently reviewed in the Chicago Tribune’s ‘Cheap Eater’ feature, the locally-owned restaurant is a hidden gem, tucked in a strip mall on Harlem Avenue.

Popular dishes include haemul pajeon (seafood-scallion fritters) and banchan (small vegetable dishes) and the menu’s hearty stews served in cast iron pots are not to be missed, Tribune reviewer Kevin Pang writes. Classic bibimbap is also a favorite.
