Starting Monday, Arrow Road Construction, the company hired by the Cook County Highway Department, will begin grinding pavement on Harms Road between East Lake Avenue and Glenview Road, according to an online announcement from the Village. 

The $1.89 million county resurfacing project from East Lake Avenue south to Golf Road on Harms is scheduled to last through the summer and project officials estimate completion around Aug. 24.

The Village reminds residents that the work--scheduled weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.--may slow traffic on Harms heading to the Edens Expressway and Cook County Court House. You may want to schedule a few additional minute into your morning commute!
