Glenbrook High Schools District 225 Student Earns Blackhawks Scholarship
Glenbrook North High School student Duncan Coogan earned one of the three scholarships the Chicago Blackhawk Alumni Association awarded this year.
The Chicago Blackhawk Alumni Association recently awarded Glenbrook North High School senior Duncan Coogan a scholarship, which will help pay $5,000 toward his college tuition every year, Northbrook Star reported.
The Association awarded Coogan one of the three scholarships it presented this year for the 17-year-olds good grades, character and community involvement with the Northbrook Blue Hawks, a traveling hockey team made up of fifth through seventh graders and Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit that builds affordable housing for people in need, Northbrook Star reported.
