Glenbrook South Titans Sports Scoreboard

Football won a big game against New Trier while Quinn Prchal took two golf tournaments.

 

Football: Kevin Schroeder was the focal point of Glenbrook South’s offense in its 21-10 victory over New Trier. The senior running back had 143 yards on 21 carries and all three touchdowns for the Titans.

Glenbrook South travels to Waukegan on Thursday.

Girls Swimming: Glenbrook South defeated Niles West 130.5-55.5 on Sept. 30. The Titans were led by Olivia Smoliga who finished first in the 200-yard individual medley (2:12.27) and the 100 backstroke (57.42).  

Boys Golf: Quinn Prchal claimed back-to-back individual titles in the past week, winning the Central Suburban League South championship on Sept. 27 and the Bruce Slovitt Trevian Invitational on Oct. 1.

Prchal shot an even-par 70 at the Sportsman's Country Club in Northbrook, helping lead Glenbrook South to a second-place finish (306), 13 shots behind champion New Trier.

The senior shot a 2-under-par 70 at North Shore Country Club in Glenview to take home medalist honors at the Trevian Invitational as the Titans finished fourth as a team with a 322. Glenbrook North won the team title with a 307.
