Stolen Glasses
On Nov. 21, someone reported their eye glasses, worth about $500, were taken from a shopping cart while they were at a business on the 2900 block of Patriot Blvd, according to police.
Running Away With Sharp Objects Can Be Dangerous
On Nov. 21, someone reported a dinnerware set, worth about $59, was taken from an unattended shopping cart at a parking lot of a business on the 2200 block of Willow Rd., according to police.
Assault
On Nov. 22, an employee of a business on the 2800 block of Pfingsten Rd. reported they were threatened by a customer when the employee refused to sell the customer alcohol, police say. The employee believed the male was purchasing the alcohol for an underage person that was with him, according to police.
Turns Out Not All Gas Stations Require Prepay
On Nov. 23, an employee of a gas station on the 700 block of Waukegan Rd. reported a male customer pumped $21.00 of gas into his vehicle and then left without paying, according to police.
Stolen Energy
On Nov. 23, a resident on the 3700 block of Countryside Ln. reported someone stole a whole house generator worth about $15,000 from their yard, according to police.
Cat Burglary Runs In the Family
On Nov. 23, a Glenview resident reported someone with access to their home stole several pieces of jewelry, worth about $,4,600, according to police.
Ahem, It's A Holiday Scene
On Nov. 25, someone on the 1700 block of Henley St. reported a three figure nativity scene, worth about $900, was taken from their lawn, according to police.
