Glenview Police: Disorderly Conduct with Eggs and Telephone Harassment

Also featured in this week's blotter: an identity theft and "trouble" for an illegal dumper.

 

The following items were part of a police report provided by the Glenview Police Department

Harassment by Telephone

On Nov. 26, a Glenview resident reported they have been receiving harassing telephone calls from a former employer for the past six months, according to police.

Disorderly Conduct

On Nov. 26, a complainant reported a man has been dumping construction waste into dumpsters located on the 600 block of Waukegan Rd., according to police. When the male was confronted he threatened to “cause trouble” for the complainant, police say.

Theft

On Nov. 28, someone reported they were leaving a business on the 2500 blockof Waukegan Rd. when a male stole a case of beer from their shopping cart, police say. 

Disorderly Conduct with Eggs

On Nov. 29, a resident on the 300 block of Parkview Rd. reported someone threw eggs on their car while it was parked on the street in front of their home, according to police.

Also that day, a resident on the 400 block of Michael Manor reported someone threw eggs on their car while it was parked at their residence, police say.

Identity Theft

On  Nov. 30, a Glenview resident reported they gave their credit card number to a subject over the phone to make payment for a computer protection plan, according to police. Shortly after doing so, the Glenview resident received a call from their credit card company inquiring whether they authorized  a wire transfer from their account in the amount of $288.00, police say.
