Glenview’s Purple Apple to Rock Lollapalooza
Three Glenbrook South Freshman and their former nanny comprise the all-girl quartet set to play the festival, Aug. 3-5 in Grant Park.
Chicago’s famed Lollapalooza will include a taste of Glenview sound when the live music festival rocks Grant Park this summer, Journal & Topics reports.
When festival officials released the lineup for their ‘Kizapalooza’ in May, Glenview’s Purple Apple—an all-girl quartet fronted by three Glenbrook South freshman and their former nanny—made the playlist.
The band includes lead singer and guitarist Olivia Eigel, bassist Madison O’Brien, guitarist Nonie Anderson and drummer Devin Ulery.
According to the festival’s website, the three-day music extravaganxa features more than 100 bands on the main stage including rock legends the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Black Keys and Black Sabbath.
