Glenview Speed Skater Wins At World Cup

Glenview's Brian Hansen, 22, won his first speedskating World Cup during a 1,000-meter race in Erfurt, Germany on Saturday, the Chicago Tribune reports.
"It was a little bit of a surprise to win the 1,000," Hansen told the Chicago Tribune.
Hansen finished the race in 1 minute, 9.79 seconds, beating Stefan Groothuis from the Netherlands by five- hundredths of a second, according to USA Today.
