Glenview Walgreens May Install New Drive-Through
Village board approval is necessary for the upgrade and may come at the Feb. 5 trustee meeting.
Glenview trustees will hear a proposal on Feb. 5, to add a drive-through to the Walgreens at 2871 Pfingsten Rd. in Glenview may soon have a drive-through, the Chicago Tribune reports. The $2.7 million construction would include a facade upgrade to some nearby stores as well.
"We are very pleased that Walgreens has chosen to invest in the property and upgrade it," Glenview deputy village manager Don Owen told the Chicago Tribune. "We are pleased that they also worked with neighbors to resolve any buffering issues."
The next Glenview Village Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 7:25 p.m. at Glenview Village Hall. The meeting can be streamed live from the village's website.

Also, banks should NOT have choice, corner locations, because they do NOT pay sales tax... Corner locations should ONLY be designated to "Tax Paying" businesses like Walgreen's... Aaaaahh, Walgreen's.......
