Blue Cat Cafe Offers Tasty Flatbread Pizza
This cafe located in downtown Highland Park serves up a tasty flatbread pizza for $8.99.
The Blue Cat Cafe, which recently opened in downtown Highland Park, serves up more than just coffee.
In addition to pour-over Intelligentsia, the cafe overs flat bread pizzas made in-house for $6.99. Served on thick bread, the pizzas comes with the options of fresh vegetable toppings and different kinds of cheeses. Each ingredient is $.50 extra, but simplicity is key: you only need a few to make for a flavorful dish.
I was there with a co-worker working on a few stories, and we split a pizza with mozzarella, Parmesan, tomatoes and mushrooms. It was definitely enough for two people to share, and, as far as the flavor was concerned, it didn't need anything else.
The only downside was we were there before 5 p.m., because after 5 you can get your pizza with a glass of wine or a draught beer.
Have you had a Blue Cat pizza yet? What'd you think?

Sounds great. I'd love to try this place. Does anyone know where this place is? No worries, I'll just drive around HP until I find it.

My 11 year old and her friends love the cheese cake! Where else do you ask for a cup of water and they open a bottle and pour for you without charge. Nice little addition to HP and hope they are successful.
