Maple Syrup Celebration Sunday at River Trail Nature Center
Welcome the arrival of spring with a day of syrup samples and family activities.

On Sunday, March 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Cook County Forest Preserve District is hosting its annual Maple Syrup Celebration at the River Trail Nature Center at 3120 N. Milwaukee ave. in Northbrook with a full day of activities and demonstrations.
Guests will get to enjoy tree-tapping walks in the sugar bush, demonstrations of Native American, pioneer and modern evaporator maple syrup production, free maple syrup samples with French toast sticks, puppet shows, storytelling and other children's activities.
