New Retail Spaces, Apartment Building Proposed For Downtown Glenview

The four story structure, Midtown Square, could eventually replace the current fire station in downtown Glenview.

A development called Midtown Square has been proposed for downtown Glenview, offering 138 apartments, almost 9,000 square feet of first floor retail space on a 2.7 acre site where the fire department station currently sits, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The developer behind this proposal, Trammell Crow Company, has $2.5 million for site, which is expected to help pay for a new fire department headquarters if approved by the village board, the Chicago Tribune reports.
