PAPOO is a sweet 9-year-old Rat Terrier mix who has lots of love to go around!  He really enjoys going out for nice spring walks with all of the Heartland volunteers.  Papoo is a very mellow and friendly guy who would love to find his forever home.

Adoption Information- Heartland's Dog Adoption fee of $225 includes up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter, de-worming, microchip, and Heartworm test.  Puppy adoption fees are slightly higher and reduced rates are often offered for special needs dogs.

Heartland Animal Shelter, 2975 Milwaukee Ave. in Northbrook, is open from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 12-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.  More animals available for adoption can be found at www.heartlandanimalshelter.net; the shelter also has opportunities for volunteers in many different capacities.
