Police Blotter: Burglary, Disorderly Conduct and More

Glenview PD reported incidents Sept. 5 - Sept. 13.

 

Retail Theft
On Sept. 11, an employee of a business in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road reported two females stole makeup on two separate occasions between August and September of 2011. The reported loss is $337.

Unwanted Subject
On Sept. 11, managers of a business in the 2100 block of Willow Road reported an intoxicated ex-employee refused to leave the business. Police gave the person a trespassing notification.

Criminal Damage to Property
On Sept. 9, the manager of a store located in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported that someone threw a table through a window of the business at about 4:20 a.m. that day. The reported damage is $1,400.

Theft
On Sept. 8, a woman reported her bicycle stolen from outside a business in the 3300 block of Glenview Road at about 6:45 p.m. that day. The reported loss is $300.

Criminal Defacement
On Sept. 8, a Glenview Park District employee reported letters and symbols spray painted on the fence on the south side of Rugen Park, 2941 Harrison Street, with a reported $50 in damage.

Disorderly Conduct
On Sept. 7, a man reported that someone wrote on his car while it was parked at a business in the 1800 block of Waukegan Road. The damage is unknown.

Theft
On Sept. 6, someone reported a wallet and its contents from a bench in the 1800 block of Tower Drive as it was left unattended for a short time on Sept. 3. The reported loss is $60.

Burglary
On Sept. 6, the owner of a business in the 1000 block of Paddock Drive reported someone took various office equipment amd tools after prying open a door between Sept. 2 and Sept. 6. The reported loss is $57,000.

Burglary
On Sept. 6, someone reported several tools stolen from a landscaping trailer parked in the area of Willow Road and Interstate 294 after the lock was removed between Sept. 3 and Sept. 5. The reported loss is $1,300.

Criminal Defacement
On Sept. 5, graffiti was found on the walls of a stairwell in the parking garage at 2701 Aviator Lane. The incident reportedly occurred between Sept. 3 and Sept. 5, resulting in an estimated $500 in damage.
