Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, Possession of Controlled Substance, Suspended Driver’s License

Glenview PD Arrests Oct. 31-Nov. 2

 

Domestic Battery

Nov. 1 at 9:10 p.m.

Earl S. Capili, 25, of Glenview, was charged with domestic battery and interference with reporting domestic violence after he grabbed a household/family member and took their phone, preventing a call to the police to report the incident. Capili was released without bond after a bond hearing Nov. 2 and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 9.

Nov. 2 at 4:45 p.m.

Daniel H. Gorman, 53, of Glenview, was charged with domestic battery at the Glenview Police Department after he grabbed a household/family member during an argument on Oct. 23. at 2:36 p.m. Bond was set at  $3,000I and Gorman has been assigned a Nov. 19 court date.

Possession of Controlled Substance

 Nov. 2 at 1:55 p.m.

Officers at the Highland Park Police Department charged Shoshana J. Gavrielov, 39, of Highland Park, with unlawful possession of a counterfeit prescription form and possession of controlled substance after an April 22 where a counterfeit prescription form was used to purchase a controlled substance at Walgreen's, 2871 Pfingsten Road. Bond was set at $5,000D; Gavrielov is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 9.  

Suspended Driver's License

Oct. 31 at 8:27 p.m.

Gregory W. Glass, 51, of Wheeling, was charged with driving with a suspended Illinois driver's license and was cited for a faulty taillight after a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Ave. Bond was set at $1,500 D and Glass has been assigned a Nov. 24 court date.

Nov. 1 at 9:10 a.m.

John A. Laing, 32,  of Chicago, was charged with driving with a suspended Illinois driver's license and citied for operating an uninsured motor vehicle after a traffic stop in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue. Bond was set at $2,000D and Laing is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 10.

A criminal charge represents an accusation; defendants named are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
