Glenview PD Arrests Oct 19-20
Reckless Driving
Oct. 19 at 9:53 p.m.
Officers arrested Ju G. Jeong, 62, of Des Plaines, for reckless driving, improper overtaking on the left, failure to signal, and disobeying stop sign after a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Shermer Rd. Jeong was released on $2000.00 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 4.
Warrant Arrest
Oct. 20 at 4:22 p.m.
Elmentoy Vargas-Morales, 27, of Northfield, was arrested at 3574 Milwaukee Avenue on a Cook County Sherriff's PD arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on a previous aggravated suspended driving charge. A judge ordered Vargas-Morales be held in custody without bond at a bond hearing on Oct. 21.
Unlicensed Driving
Oct. 20 at 4:32 p.m.
Officers arrested Rafael Juarez, 24, of Glenview, for driving without a valid driver's license, operating uninsured motor vehicle, and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash, after investigating a traffic crash in the 1700 block of East Lake Ave. Juarez was released on $2,000.00 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 24.
Felony Criminal Damage
Oct. 20 at 6:00 p.m.
Nicholas Ward, 19, of Glenview, was arrested for felony criminal damage to property (over $300.00) after officers investigated damage to Glenview Park District property that occurred Oct. 10 at Community West Park, 1001 Zenith Drive. Ward was transferred to custody of the Cook County Department of Corrections after a judge set bond at $50,000.00 D on the case and denied bond on a separate violation of probation count on Oct. 21. Ward is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 29.
