The following reports were provided by the Glenview Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations, and do not indicate guilt. 

Burglaries on Locust Ave.

On Dec. 18, a resident on the 4700 block of Locust Ave. reported someone burglarized their home, according to police. Entry was made through an unlocked door, a phone and cash were taken, police say. Reported loss is $380.00.

That day, another resident on the 4700 block of Locust Ave. reported someone entered their detached garage through an unlocked door and took $2.00 in loose change, according to police. Nothing else was reported taken from the garage.

That day, on the 4600 block of Locust Ave., someone reported a parked vehicle was burglarized, police say. Method of entry is not known, but clothes and perfume were reported taken, according to police. Reported loss is $150.00.

Disorderly Conduct

On Dec. 20, a resident on the 3200 block of West Lake Ave. reported a man was outside their building, swearing at people and calling them names, according to police.

Retail Theft

On Dec. 21, an employee of a business on the 1400 block of Waukegan Rd. reported a man and woman entered the business and stole several cans of baby formula worth about $168, according to police. 

Attempted Burglary

On Dec. 21, a resident on the 1800 block of Grove St. reported someone tried to enter their home by defeating a door handle and lock, according to poice. 

Residential Burglary

On Dec. 21, a resident on the 1000 block of Gladish Ln. reported someone burglarized their home, police say. Method of entry is not known, but jewelry and credit cards were removed, according to police.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

On Dec. 23, a resident on the 1700 block of Executive Ln. reported someone burglarized their unlocked car while it was parked in their driveway, police say. A GPS unit worth about $100 was removed, according to police.
