Szechwan North, 2857 Pfingsten Rd., won the top spot, nabbing 36 percent of reader votes, the lion’s share of comments and three, five-star reviews in our Patch Places directory. In second place is Chinatown Kitchen, 2200 Waukegan Road, with 42% of poll votes.
Since 1975, the Koo family has made itself a name in Chinese cuisine all over the country, including several locations in downtown Chicago. Whether you love their lunch buffet, can't get enough of their takeout or enjoy their fresh fruit smoothies and bubble tea with Szechwan North, the Koos have made their mark in Glenview.
One reader, Sherry Morris, can’t get enough of the local Chinese spot famous for their fresh, quality dishes.
“Szechwan North is amazing for ‘new’ Chinese food,” she shared in the comments section. “They have a stir fry fish that's unbelievable, scallion pancakes, and spicy eggplant that's craveable! Plus the Koo family is just wonderful and supportive to the community."
We'll be running reader's choice polls every Monday through Friday so that you can help advise your neighbors on the best places to check out in town — and hopefully learn something new yourself!
It's also an opportunity for people to leave reviews in our extensive business directory. And no need to wait for a poll to sound off. Got a rant or rave? If you've got something to say about a local business, please look it up in the directory and let fellow readers know what you think.
