AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEKWITH AVOCA SCHOOL DISTRICT #37
American Education Week will be celebrated in the Avoca schools during the week of November 12–16. All classrooms will be open to parents and community members to visit and observe our teachers and students in action! We welcome you to experience the excitement of learning by visiting Avoca West Elementary School (Kindergarten – Fifth) and Marie Murphy School (Preschool and Sixth – Eighth). A schedule of activities is as follows:

Avoca West School offers schooling for kids in grades kindergarten through 5th. It offers a curriculum that includes mathematics, science, social studies, language arts, physical education, music, Spanish, orchestra, band, technology, and health.
