More About St Philip Lutheran Church
St. Philip Church has a large campus and provides many extracurricular activities for its members and the community. It is a spiritual environment with many family and youth activities. A traditional Sunday mass is held at 8:30am and an Alternative Rock Service is held at 10am. It also offers daily AA meetings, Weight Watchers groups, Clothes Closet a meal kitchen and more.

I'm a member of St. Philip and would like to make some corrections to the information printed here. Unfortunately we do not have many youth activities, but we do have an outstanding rock band at our Spirit-filled 10:00 AM service. We no longer have our Saturday worship services while we're in the process of calling a new pastor. AA meetings are held 10 times a week...not biweekly as stated in the article. St. Philip is known as the "Little Church with the Big Heart", and we're involved in many outreach activities. We offer free meals every Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 for needy or just lonely people, and we have a clothes closet open three mornings a week for families who are registered with Northfield Township. I love my church and just felt that I needed to make those corrections. Thanks, Elaine Bilowich
