District 31 Education Foundation's Kickoff Meeting for "ACT Now"
District 31 families and the community are invited to attend an important informational kickoff meeting to learn about the future of technology at Winkelman and Field Schools on Tuesday, November 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Field Middle School Auditorium, 2055 Landwehr Road, Northbrook. The District 31 Education Foundation and Parent Teacher Club are sponsoring the "ACT Now: Advancing Classroom Technology" Campaign with a goal to raise $750,000 over the next three years to put technology into the hands of every single student in District 31 and make District 31 a leading example of technologically-enabled primary and middle school education. More About Field Middle School
Students from Glenview, Northbrook and unincorporated Northfield Township attend Field Middle School, which is led by Principal Erin Murphy. Opened in 1965, the school added a fine arts wing and auditorium in 1991. Special programs include an artist in residence, "Field Idol" competition and annual school musical.
