                      GLENVIEW GARDENERS

     Glenview Gardeners will have a presentation titled “TheEdible landscape” at their Tuesday, February 12^th meeting, 7:00 p.m. held in the Meeting Room of the Midwest Care Center, 2050 Claire Court, Glenview.

      Edward J. Max, owner of Max’s Greener Places, a Winfield, Illinois landscape design firm, will speak on heirloom tomatoes in regards to soil preparation, saving seeds and preferred cultivars.

      The West Chicago resident will not only discuss other vegetable selections for a successful garden, but discuss all aspects of designing and maintaining an edible landscape.

      Glenview Gardeners is an area garden club open to both men and women who are interested in all aspects of gardening. Interests include indoor/outdoor gardening, landscape design and specialty gardening.
