ICECF “Back 2 School 2012” Fundraiser

Boosting education with its 8th annual fundraiser, the Illinois Currency Exchange Charitable Foundation (ICECF) hosts its “Back 2 School 2012” luncheon at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Chicago on June 19. This special day will ultimately help many children to receive needed school supplies.
ICECF launches its program to distribute over 18,750 Back 2 School kits (filled with over 500,000 school supplies) to underserved children in August and September, as well as award two annual college scholarships to high school seniors, plus recognize Education and Corporate Sponsor Award recipients YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago and MB Financial Bank. A special Public Service Award will also be given to Golden Apple President and CEO Dom Belmonte.
Honored guest emcees are Daniella Guzman and
Stefan Holt, weekday morning news anchors at NBC 5 Chicago (NBC 5 News Today, 4:30 to 7 a.m.), with other highlights including the premiere of a Back 2 School documentary, plus a grand raffle to win a Chicago Weekend Package Extravaganza. Sponsors of the event include:
