DESCRIPTION:As a young writer it is important to develop the habits of a 
 writer. Writers keep notes\, make lists\, draw funny pictures and try ou
 t ideas. Where do they do these things? A Writer&rsquo\;s Notebook!\nIn 
 this one-day workshop we will create Writer&rsquo\;s Notebooks while dev
 eloping the skills and habits of a writer. Using writing prompts and exe
 rcises\, we will practice our writing skills\, explore a few rules of go
 od writing and have fun with our Notebooks.\nThis workshop is for studen
 ts in grades 6-9. All writing experiences are welcome.
