DESCRIPTION:Orchard Village invites the community to an Open House for re
 modeled homes in Skokie and Glenview to celebrate their &ldquo\;I am You
 r Neighbor&rdquo\; campaign\nThree months ago\, Orchard Village announce
 d its &ldquo\;I am Your Neighbor&rdquo\; campaign to ask community minde
 d companies and citizens to help a neighbor in need. It&rsquo\;s working
 . &ldquo\;I am Your Neighbor&rdquo\; is the&nbsp\; theme for Orchard Vil
 lage as it looks for new partners\, volunteers and dedicated local compa
 nies that would like to assist in helping to provide resources of time\,
  talent and treasure. They are committed to updating all of their reside
 ntial homes\, their campus on Marmora\, and growing their programs to in
 clude all who are in need.\nOrchard Village owns 11 small group homes th
 roughout the northwest suburbs\, and is proud to encourage the people th
 ey serve to be active and engaged in the community. They also help peopl
 e with developmental disabilities that live in their own apartments or w
 ith their families and have their own Academy which serves young adults 
 in high school up to the age of 22 with job and life skills\, and help t
 hem find meaningful work. State funding has been reduced and their goal 
 is to create relationships with the neighbors and communities that their
  customers reside in. Their main service areas are Skokie\, Evanston\, M
 orton Grove\, Niles and Glenview.\nThrough a recent strategic plan to re
 new focus and give direction to this organization that is now in its 40t
 h year\, a new Mission Statement was approved by the Board of Directors\
 ; Orchard Village partners with families and communities to optimize per
 sonal outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities with a co
 mmunity integrated approach.\nIn celebration of partnerships formed with
  the Grainger Foundation\, Rebuilding Together North Suburban Chicago an
 d the Rotary Club of Evanston Lighthouse and Rotary Club of Evanston\, n
 eighbors in the communities of Skokie and Glenview are invited to two op
