Willowbrook School's First International Night to Offer Food and Fellowship
Willowbrook's First International Night to Offer Food and Fellowship
Willowbrook School's PTO will be hosting the first International Night from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m., Friday, January 25 at 2500 Happy Hollow Road, Glenview. This event will give students and families the opportunity to gather and show, display, and share each other's food and cultural history. Parents may opt to be a delegate at the event and host a booth representing their country of origin, or simply attend the event to see what other families are sharing about their culture. In addition, the PTO is compiling recipes and will create a cookbook, which will be on sale during International Night.
Registration forms are available in the office or in the November 30 issue of What's Up Willowbrook? Registration forms should be returned to the office by December 19. For those residents submitting a recipe for the sale of a cookbook the night of the event, the recipe needs to be emailed to email@example.com by January 8, 2013. Email all information to firstname.lastname@example.org.
