Glenbrook Hospital Ranked Top in Nation in Recent Survey

Glenbrook Hospital was among 90 "Top Hospitals" selected from more than 1,300 participants nationwide in The Leapfrog Group's annual survey.

NorthShore University HealthSystem's Glenbrook Hospital was rated a "Top Hospital" in the Leapfrog Group's annual survey, according to a press release.

Glenbrook was among 90 hospitals selected from more than 1,300 nationwide for its performance on measures of patient safety and quality, according to the release

"We are honored to again be designated a Leapfrog “Top Hospital” and believe it is indicative of the high-quality care delivered by our physicians and staff across our entire system,” NorthShore Glenbrook Hospital president Sean O’Grady said in the release. “We take very seriously our goals on quality and patient safety, and the Leapfrog award validates the efforts of everyone at NorthShore University HealthSystem.”

The survey focuses on patient outcomes, use of resources and management structures, and results can be viewed online at http://www.leapfroggroup.org/cp. The 1,324 hospitals participating this year was a record number, according to the release.
