Glenview Recognizes 'Character Counts' Student Winners

Glenview's board of trustees recognized 13 elementary school students as winners of the 2013 CHARACTER COUNTS! in Glenview poster/video contest.

Glenview's village board recognized 13 local elementary school students Tuesday, for their winning posters and video creations for the 2013 "Character Counts! in Glenview" contest.

The contest asks kids to create posters or videos illustrating "six pillars of character," including trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. Click the photos above to see the winning submissions.

Grades K-2

  • 1st place – Braya Eggener, Lyon School
  • 2nd place – Jahnavi Gorla, Henking School
  • 3rd place – Amanda Kaiya Lee, Westbrook School

Grades 3-5

    3rd place – Lauren Ciccolini, Francesco Addante and Sara Bhaidani, Springman Middle School
