Soup Restaurant Opening Soon in Plaza Del Prado

As the weather cools, soup sounds even more enticing--whether it's chicken potpie, lobster bisque or vegetarian split pea.

Those are just a few of the varieties that will be served at Zoup!, a new franchise restaurant opening in Plaza del Prado. Owners Andrew and Kim Siegel will open early next year at 2743 Pfingsten Rd., according to a spokesperson from the company.

“We are excited to bring the Zoup! brand and culture to Glenview,” Siegel said in the press release. “Zoup! is a unique concept with healthy menu options and we look forward to offering local residents our soups and delicious sandwiches and salads.”

With more than 50 locations around the country, Zoup! offers a rotating selection of 12 soups each day, some of which are low-fat, low calorie, vegetarian, dairy-free or gluten-free. Each comes with a piece of freshly baked bread, according to the release. 

Other menu items include made-to-order salads and sandwiches, and Zoup! also does catering.
