Having a better understanding of how to do business with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) will be the focus of the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Illinois’ (PRCCI’s) Café con Leche Business Breakfast Series. The event will be held at Nellie's Puerto Rican Restaurant, 2458 W. Division St., Chicago from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19. The cost is $10 for PRCCI members and $15 for non-members.

According to Vice President Barbara McGowan, Chairman of the MWRD’s Affirmative Action Committee, vendors will learn about the process that affords all qualified business owners a chance to secure a contract and grow their businesses.

“The first step to doing business with the MWRD is to register as a potential vendor, so I greatly encourage anyone looking for new business opportunities to register for this event,” said Commissioner McGowan.

In addition to vendor application packets, the MWRD’s booklet, “A Quick Guide to Doing Business with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago” will be distributed to program participants. The booklet can also be found at www.mwrd.org.
