Palatine High School Students Join Pathways.org for 9th Annual Photo Shoot

GLENVIEW,Ill. March 5th, 2014—Pathways.org Center, a state-of-the-art pediatric therapy clinic located in Glenview, IL, held its 9th annual photo shoot on February 25, 2014 in partnership with Palatine High School.

Advanced photography students took photos of physical, occupational and speech-language therapy sessions at the clinic.

“This is such a valuable service for us,” said Linda Rooke, Director of Therapy Services at Pathways.org Center. “As a non-profit organization, it’s amazing to have access to such high quality photos that not only capture all of the services we offer, but also the strong relationships forged between the children and their therapists during their individualized sessions.”

The photos from the shoot will be used in a variety of Pathways.org resources, including free educational materials on children’s motor, communication and sensory development for parents and health professionals worldwide.

The students were able to observe children of all ages participating in therapy sessions. They practiced their live-action shooting skills in several different spaces at the Center, including the Sensory Clubhouse—an occupational therapy room where children can strengthen their sensory integration skills through play-based therapy
