Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree

Join friends and families at Northfield Community Church’s 2013 Community Christmas, Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, on Sunday, December 8 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Admission is free and the entire community is invited.  Community Christmas promises fun for all ages! 

 

The Christmas story will come alive at stations where guests can make Christmas tree ornaments and crafts, create jewelry, decorate cookies, sing Christmas carols, listen to story time, enjoy model trains, and more.  A free lunch will be provided.  There will be commemorative family photos as well.

Guests are invited to bring warm mittens, gloves, socks, hats, and scarves to furnish the mitten tree.  These gifts will be shared with the Night Ministry which serves the Chicago area’s homeless population.

Northfield Community Church is located at 400 Wagner Road, at the corner of Willow and Wagner Roads in Northfield.  Everyone is invited to worship services and Sunday school classes.  The Praise Service is every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel.  The Traditional Worship Service with choir is at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.    Sunday school classes for children is at 10:30 a.m.  For more information, call 847-446-3070, email office@northfielducc.org, or visit the website at www.northfielducc.org.
