The League of Women Voters of Glenview will hold Voter Registration

The League of Women Voters of Glenview will hold Voter Registration at the Glenview Public Library Tuesday, February 18, from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.   Two pieces of identification are required to register.  Neither needs to be a photo ID, but one must include your current address.  The Glenview League is sponsoring this voter registration in advance of the March 18 Gubernatorial Primary Election when candidates not only for Governor but also for U.S. Senator, Attorney General, U.S. Representatives and other national, state and county positions will be on the ballot.   The Glenview League is also conducting voter registration in February at both Glenbrook South and Glenbrook North High Schools as under new voting regulations 17 year olds will be eligible to vote as long as they turn 18 by the November 4, 2014 General Election. The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government.   Detailed voting information is available at:  cookcountyclerk.com/elections/2014elections.
