219 Runners From Northbrook, Glenview Finish Chicago Marathon
Local runners joined 37,235 others for the annual 26 mile, 385 yard-course through downtown Chicago and the city's neighborhoods.
Glenview's Joe Haffner, 47 and Northbrook's Molly Buckley, 20 were the area's top finishers in Sunday's Bank of America Chicago Marathon, according to the Bank of America Marathon results page. Haffner finished the race in 1268th place and Buckley finished in 2135th. It took them 03:06:23 and 03:16:06 respectively.
83 people from Northbrook completed the 26 mile race, along with 136 people from Glenview.
