Sunday's event at the Glenview Ice Center will benefit the Max Plotnick Education Fund and the Pagano Family Memorial Fund

The Glenview police and fire departments will face off in a charity hockey game this weekend against staff and coaches from the Glenview Ice Center.

Proceeds from the hockey game will benefit the Max Plotnick Education Fund and the Pagano Family Memorial Fund.

“Two of our youth league coaches died suddenly this year, Neal Pagano and Aaron Plotnick, and the hockey community in Glenview came together to help out the two families and their children,” said Sylvain Turcotte, hockey director for the Glenview Park District.
