2012 Illinois Election Results - Many of us might be relieved the campaigning is over, but now we have to live with the results. A roundup of Illinois election results from the Nov. 6 general election. 

 - Marc Cardoza, age 43 of Winnetka, passed away suddenly on Nov. 11, 2012. Marc was a graduate of Glenbrook South High School and North Park College. He had a successful career at the Board of Trade working side by side with his father.

Fire Department Rescues Man Trapped During Fire - The Glenview Fire Department, with help from nine nearby fire departments, rescued a man trapped on a balcony during a fire at 3521 Central Rd. The man was treated at Lutheran General Hospital and released. The fire caused no other injuries.

Former Glenview Man Gets Life In Prison for Human Trafficking - Alex Campbell ran the Day and Night Spa in Mt. Prospect. The Justice Department announced Monday he has been sentenced for sex-trafficking, forced labor and harboring illegal aliens, among other charges.

Glenbrook North Grad Opens Glenview Restaurant - Jen Eisen opened El Mexican Restaurant at 2528 Waukegan Rd. on Friday with her business partner, Eloin Amador.
