Grab & Go Kids Planner: Family Movie Night, Science Exploration at the Grove & More

Activities for kids this week include a free family movie night, a natural science classroom and a gamer's paradise at the local library.

Friday Night Fish Fry
Where/When:
Friday, March 25 from 4:30-8 p.m., at , 800 Shermer Rd.
Why Go:
Enjoy a delicious buffet with family and friends. Cocktails and other menu items are also available. Seating is first-come, first served. For more information call (847) 657-3200.


Where/When: Saturday, March 26 from 1-4 p.m. at the, 2171 Northbrook Ct, Northbrook.
Why Go: Donate a new or nearly new formal dress or accessory and receive a $10 gift card. The items will be donated to local high school juniors and seniors who cannot purchase their own prom attire.

Why Go: The Natural Science classroom is featuring snakes as its March theme. Individuals and families are welcome to discover nature through science equipment, environmental displays, touching tanks and more.
Pricing: The cost is $8 for residents and $10 for nonresidents.

Gamer’s Paradise
Where/When:
Friday, March 25, 5-9 p.m. at the
Why Go: Play with the Library’s Nintendo Wii, XBOX360, Playstation 3 and game collection. Pizza and pop included. Big screens and boomchairs make this a gamer’s paradise. Grades 6-12.  Register with the library before you go.

Panera Bread Game Night
Where/When:
Saturday, March 26, 3-8 p.m., 2512 Waukegan Road
Why Go: Enjoy game night with family and friends every Saturday in March. Open to kids and adults of all ages, feel free to bring your own board games or use the ones provided.  Complimentary soft drinks for all participants.
