Is a Sunset Village Transformation on the Horizon?
The property's potential new owners told residents of the Glenview mobile home park it can be 'one of the best in the country.'
Sunset Village, Glenview's mobile home park at 2450 Waukegan Rd., will likely switch ownership this summer when it exits foreclosure within the next few months, Patch previously reported.
Mike Vilches, president of Sunset Village Residents' Association and a resident since 1995 told the Chicago Tribune the potential new owners have "indicated that they're long-term owners and want to make (the village) one of the best parks in the country."
October Investment Properties, LLC is expected to own and operate Sunset Village as a manufactured home community after the property exits foreclosure, according to Vilches.
However, October Investments' David Worth declined to share details of a future Sunset Village owner because the property remains under foreclosure, the Chicago Tribune reports.
