Glenview’s Sunset Village mobile home park, which has frequently been on boil water orders, will soon be getting village water, as well as other long-desired improvements, according to an article in the Glenview Announcements.
Residents have been asking for health and safety improvements to their neighborhood for years. The park went into foreclosure under the previous owners.
But now things are looking up.
The village trustees and owner Glenview MHC have entered into an agreement to bring the park onto village water, as well as widen roads — which will allow fire trucks better access — install a new sanitary sewer system, the Announcements article says.
