Northbrook Marshmallow Fairy Makes Holiday Treats

Jennifer Cox Weglarz makes homemade marshmallows in a variety of flavors which she also sells on Etsy.

Northbrook's Jennifer Cox Weglarz has been making candy for more than 10 years, but it's her alter ego of The Marshmallow Fairy that's been running a small dessert shop online

Weglarz makes marshmallows in a range of flavors in her house, packages them, then sells the treats on Etsy for about $7 to $10

If you're looking for a unique stocking stuffer or a fun addition to your next dinner party, The Marshmallow Fairy has packages of holiday peppermint, pumpkin spice, caramel sea salt and plenty more.

Weglarz says her marshmallows are made with cane sugar, corn syrup, gelatin, salt and natural flavors. Around Passover, she makes a kosher version without pork gelatin. She also makes a honey-based marshmallow year round with raw cane sugar and no corn syrup.
