Sunset Village Exits Foreclosure
Sunset Village, Glenview's mobile home park at 2450 Waukegan Rd., was purchased by new owners this summer who told residents they intend to improve the community.
After three years of foreclosure, along with ongoing water contamination and maintenance issues, Glenview's Sunset Village mobile home park recently got a second chance with new owners who've promised residents to improve conditions in the community, the Chicago Tribune reports.
"Better days are ahead for residents of the Sunset Village," David Worth, one of Sunset Village's new owners told the Chicago Tribune.
Sunset Village's new owners "wish to be open and inclusive as they evaluate, develop and operate the community," Mike Vilches, President of the Sunset Village Residents’ Association, recently wrote in a letter addressing the new ownership.
