Union Pacific Repairs Bridge A Month Early

Shermer Road probably won't be repaired until spring 2014.

The Union Pacific bridge near Shermer and Willow roads that collapsed a year ago has been repaired a month early, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Repairs to Shermer Road that would reopen traffic in the area will take longer, the Chicago Tribune reports, in part because asphalt needed for the project won't be available until spring.
