Maickel Melamed was born with his umbilical cord wrapped around his neck, which has left him with a permanent physical disability. He finished last weekend's Chicago Marathon in 16 hours and 46 minutes.

High School CSI: Forensics Science Class Shows Science's Practicality

“One of the things I have to work through at the beginning of the school year is I say we are not going to just sit here and watchCSI,” says the class’ teacher. “We actually do science. I also tell the kids I know I have done my job when you walk into class and say I can’t watch CSI anymore because I know how wrong it is.”
