Divas of the Silver Screen Return to Glenview

Escape the cold and winter blahs… enjoy food tastings and movie clips to benefit the Perk Center Café on Monday, Feb. 4 at the Regal Glen Stadium 10 Theatres from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. 

This year, Glenview Giving Foundation is hosting its annual Divas of the Silver Screen community wide event benefiting seven charities including Perk Center Café. All proceeds are given to the charities.

Taste signature dishes from more than 40 local restaurants and watch movie clips of past “Divas," including a Perk Party with Bette Midler in theater #3 where professional ballroom dancers perform to Midler's music.

Tickets to the event are $40.00. Raffle tickets are being sold for $10.00 for a chance to win one of forty restaurant gift cards valued at $50 each.

Perk Center Café, located inside the lobby at Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave., is a non-profit food service concept whose focus is to train and employ individuals with disabilities. They serve up Seattle’s Best Coffee, breakfast, lunch, snacks, salads, wraps, hot dogs, children’s meals, slushies, energy drinks and more at prices that won’t hurt your pocketbook.
